atlanticbooks asked: I met Daniel after the last show of the day, and after talking to the guard at the door, he said that when Dan has guests he takes longer to come out, so just keep in mind that every day isn't the same timing!
Anonymous asked: Dan did not come out after the matinee.
liberate-miamor asked: Daniel only came out sometimes. Like, if he had 2 shows a day he would only come for the last one.
Anonymous asked: i know you won't know the answer to this, but what do you think the CHANCES are of darren coming out to say hi after the matinees? i have a 3pm ticket on the 8th and i really want my friends who have never met him before to get autographs :) thanks so much<3
Anonymous asked: My friend is a DanRad stan and one time her and I saw H2$ she just asked the usher for extras and he gave her a stack of 15 of them. Best thing to do it ask, if you really need them worst thing that can happen is you don't get any extra.
starfishy2000 asked: While I agree there will be many Playbills "laying" around, they will not be very happy if they all start disappearing because people feel the need to grab handfuls. Because Darren will only be in the show for 3 weeks, they will only be printing a limited number.
Anonymous asked: I'll be traveling 2817 miles to see DC on Broadway and I cannot wait! Thanks for the Q&A you're doing. This is my first time to NY and the information is really useful not to mention it's helping to build the excitement! Well done DCST :)
name0fthestar asked: When I went to see Young Frankenstein, there were TONS of Playbills just sitting around. And bunches of people left them after the show. So, it's not a big deal to get extras.
Anonymous asked: Nick Jonas is recording 5 songs, not the entire H2$ album.
Anonymous asked: I'm worried about this playbill document. I understand people want them if they arent going but I dont want to see fans being rude and taking extra playbills when they are not supposed to
Anonymous asked: whats your source about nick jonas recording it? that makes no sense since the show isn't in the black yet and the cast recording investment is one the producers rarely make back.
Anonymous asked: aw, are you sure? why not?
Anonymous asked: do you know if, like daniel, there will be a cd of the H2$ songs w/ darren singing them?
Anonymous asked: please stop calling it "opening night" call it darren's first night or something but by calling it opening night it is disrespecting the cast and crew who have been working on this musical for months!
Anonymous asked: At what time is the opening night show, and how long will the show be?
Anonymous asked: It also depends where you're sitting. For example if you're in the mezzanine you could go more casual but if you have good seats on the floor level or up reasonably close I would be a little more dressy :)
stjimmyjazz asked: while you're on the topic of Broadway etiquette. I know it's already been said, but be respectful. We're all Darren's fans, but this is his job. You're representing him and yourself, so we all should behave well during the show. Granted, when he comes out for his curtain call, go crazy. This is a guy living his dream, let him know that we think it's just as fantastic...
nora9999 asked: On dressing for shows: I find NY theatre to be pretty casual compared to some other places. But people tend to dress up for opening/closing and more for evening shows than for matinees. For the person who asked about cold weather and skirts-- this is why tights were invented. And shoes you can walk on sidewalks in are a must. You will be happier if you are comfortable.
waxlinguistic asked: It goes the other way, too. If you want to go all-out you won't look out of place. Especially at the evening shows.
stjimmyjazz asked: As far as your last anon goes: you're right in your advice on proper dress for a Broadway show. Most people no longer get dressed to the nines, but every once in a while you'll see a nice dress and a jacket. Dark jeans, classy top, and shoes in good condition are best. Dress for a business interview, this isn't American Idiot.
jillandthepovolos asked: For those asking about Broadway attire - it really DOES vary. One key point to look at is if you're going to a matinee or an evening performance. I saw How to Succeed this summer and went to a matinee performance in jeans and a nice t-shirt. I went to go see another show later that night and wore a dress. If you're worried about the temperatures in New York in January a nice coat and...
dapper-fapper asked: Ok I'm kind of worried about the attire for H2$... what would be a good outfit because I know you said no jeans, and I'm thinking of wearing a skirt but it's going to be literally freezing. Thanks!
Anonymous asked: Would you advise against wearing a nice pair of jeans and a dressy shirt to the show? I am not sure what to wear to the show, but I don't like wearing dresses/skirts especially in the winter.
supermancanfly asked: As i'm from england and i can't get to america in january is there any way i can see H2$?
Anonymous asked: How can i get a Darren Criss autograph?
Anonymous asked: I'm planning on wearing high heels, tights, a nice skirt and a blouse with a pea coat to h2$. Is it bad if i just wear my sunglasses on my head or clipped to my shirt?
wincie asked: Thanks for the info! Any chance I can meet up with you guys on the 3rd for the opening and the 5th?
Anonymous asked: Hi I'm the anon from the last question. Thank you for answering that question especially since you don't really answer questions about his personal life. I don't think it was a really big rumor I was just reading a confessions blog and saw something about it and got really confused and thought that you guys would probably know the answer. So thank you for answering.
Anonymous asked: Hi umm so I read somewhere that Darren smokes. I don't really think it's true and I know it's not really a big deal if he does or doesn't but do you know if he does or doesn't?
Dear Mayor Bloomberg, NYPD and Gossip Girl,
doonarose:
I am writing to inform you of the impending influx of Darren Criss fangirls to your fair city. Please do not be alarmed, we are a self-policed movement with futuristic ethics and are a generally good-natured bunch. Nonetheless, we feel it is pertinent that we inform you of the expected outcomes of our takeover of New York City.
Please expect our occupation to occur innocuously and...
squilliamfancysoniii asked: my friend and i are going to the opening night of h2$ with darren! see you there? :)
wincie asked: Hi! I have a question about the standby thing. I will be there in the morning in NYC but have a flight around 3 or 4 pm in the afternoon, how long will the thing take and will that be possible to meet up with you guys? I've never really done anything like this before. Quite nervous. And are you going to any of the H$2 shows? Thank you!

Just an FYI,
ordering the DCST DOES DCBWAY wristbands depleted the DCST funds. If you are feeling generous or want to donate $ so we have funds for prizes/shipping/etc in the future, you can paypal money to darrencrissstreetteam@gmail.com THIS IS NOT A REQUIREMENT but in order for us to continue things like this sometimes funds are necessary and we do not receive payment of any kind for this team.
haileymarie101 asked: Just a place that I wanted to suggest as part of the NYC scavenger hunt, the Stardust Diner next to the Winter Garden Theater. I recommend it to everyone. The wait staff is made up of Broadway performers who sing while they are working. It's one of my favorite places.

DCST DOES DCBWAY 2012 Scavenger Hunt
We here, at Team Darren Headquarters, have been working on this for a while now. Since so many of our members are traveling to NYC to see our boy in his Broadway debut, and many of you are coming for the first time, we’ve compiled a list of popular NYC attractions and made 3 photo scavenger hunts for you to participate in. You can choose one of the lists or all of them. Take a picture of...

californiadcst:
DareBears4Tots, for anyone who might not yet know, is a project started and directed by Jennifer Adame, Gail Browne-McDonald, Rachel Nacilla, and Lexie Ramos. Three of them in the Dcst: California Chapter and one of them an officer of said chapter.
The project was all in name of our idol, Darren Criss. These girls saw what he had done last year in the Roxy, giving signed...
iraaaaa asked: So with the Dutch part of the DCST we wanted to request a song of Darren on the yearly event Serious Request, in which 3 radio dj's lock themselves up in a glass house, without food, to raise money for the Red Cross while making radio non-stop. You need to pay for a song. Unfortunately they don't have any Darren tunes in their database... ):
